Dubai Chambers, ICC and WCF Launch Global Chamber Benchmarking Tool at World Chambers Congress

DUBAI, Sep 3, 2025 (WAM) – Dubai Chambers, in association with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the World Chambers Federation (WCF), has introduced the Chamber Benchmarking Tool, the first-ever platform aimed at equipping chambers of commerce around the globe to compare their performance with international standards and best practices.

The solution was launched at Dubai Chambers’ attendance at the 14th World Chambers Congress (WCC) held in Melbourne on September 2–4, where over 1,200 leaders and officials from over 100 nations came together.

The revolutionary digital platform enables chambers to measure their performance in seven critical roles and responsibilities:

  • Economic Research & Business Intelligence
  • Advocacy & Policy Representation
  • International Trade & Investment Attraction
  • Training, Skills Development & Workforce Support
  • Networking & Business Collaboration
  • Advisory & Support Services
  • Legal & Dispute Resolution

It also measures internal dimensions of operational excellence such as strategic alignment, process efficiency, governance, innovation, financial impact, and member engagement.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the initiative reinforces Dubai’s role as a hub for innovation and excellence: “This platform empowers chambers worldwide to embrace global standards of efficiency, strengthen the private sector, and deliver tangible economic impact.”

ICC Secretary-General John W\.H. Denton AO commended Dubai Chambers’ vision, saying the tool will “give chambers the insights they require to flourish in a changing world economy.”

In addition to providing benchmarking insights, the platform also provides access to a worldwide library of case studies, customized recommendations, and intelligence tools that enable chambers to detect trends, plug performance gaps, and become future-ready.

The project was authored in collaboration with an international steering committee and in response to in-depth analysis of 19 chambers representing different world regions, guaranteeing a sound global best-practice benchmarked framework.

With the launch of this tool for benchmarking, Dubai Chambers seeks to revolutionize the global chamber network to empower institutions to provide more efficient services, facilitate cross-border cooperation, and enhance business competitiveness globally.
